Compass Assessment

The Compass is intended to provide a general indication of a system’s optimization potential in a minimal amount of time. The online form can be filled out quickly. Once submitted, a tekWorx Application Engineer will contact you within 7 business days to discuss a high level project scope and an estimate of your potential energy savings.

System Energy Analysis (SEA)

This SEA involves an on-site assessment of the entire system including hydronic design, mechanical equipment, control system and operating procedures. The process generally includes a review of the available plans and trend logs as well as interviews with key personnel to identify the issues affecting efficiency and operational performance. The results are summarized in a 3 to 4 page report that includes a summary of the plant conditions and problems, a recommended scope of work for energy improvement, and the projected savings from implementing the recommendations. In most cases, the SEA provides all the necessary backup to support a funding request.

Detailed Energy Study (DEA)

Detailed Energy Study (DES): The DES builds upon the SEA to provide greater detail when a specific project or client requires more comprehensive documentation. Depending on the specific requirements, the DES may include data logging set up and trend analysis, schematic drawings, a detailed scope of work for all trades, and/or an energy and utility incentive investigation.
